The BRIDJIT driveway curb ramp is a bolt-together rubber ramp system that bridges the drop at a residential rolled curb, so you can pull in and out of your driveway without the jolt at the bottom. If your entry is a rounded, roll-over curb rather than a poured apron, this is the problem it solves: the sudden step your tires take at the street edge, and the scrape that follows it on anything riding low.

That jolt is not just uncomfortable. Repeated impacts at the curb work against your steering components, shocks, and struts, and can pull wheels out of alignment over time — which shows up as uneven tire wear. Vehicles with limited ground clearance take it in the bodywork instead, dragging the front air dam or undercarriage across the concrete on every entry. Every section is molded in the USA from recycled tires, which is what makes the ramp weather resistant and heavy enough to stay where you put it. Each section measures 47 in long by 16 in wide and stands 2.5 in tall at the crown, tapering to 3/4 in at the road edge for a smooth transition. A set includes one left, one center, and one right section; the left and right pieces are tapered on the outside ends so delivery vehicles can cross them without catching, parallel parking stays easy, and there is no abrupt edge to trip over on foot. A 2.5 in channel runs the length of the underside so storm runoff passes beneath the ramp rather than pooling against the curb — the detail that usually decides whether a local ordinance or HOA is satisfied.

Four set sizes cover different driveway widths. The standard 3-piece set spans 141 in, just shy of 12 ft, and weighs roughly 150 lb. Adding center sections extends it: the 4-piece covers 188 in (about 15.7 ft, roughly 200 lb), the 5-piece covers 235 in (just shy of 20 ft, roughly 250 lb), and the 6-piece covers 282 in (about 23.5 ft, roughly 300 lb). Sets remain expandable after installation — additional center sections bolt into an existing run using the same method. Installation

Easy to Install, Easy To Own

Installation takes a hammer, a screwdriver, and about half an hour. Each section arrives in its own box labeled left, center, or right. Sections bolt to each other with galvanized 1/2 in x 7-1/2 in bolts already inserted in the center section, with the nuts included — never to the curb itself, so nothing is drilled, no concrete is poured, and no adhesive is used. The bolts are deliberately left loose, protruding about 1/4 in past the nut, which is what lets the joints flex enough to follow a curve. Because of that flex, the set can be assembled along the curvature of a cul-de-sac or corner lot rather than only on a straight entry. 

Sections weigh about 50 pounds each, so BRIDJIT recommends two people for installation. Once assembled, the ramp can be flipped up and over for cleaning underneath, which is worth doing about twice a year or more often if your gutter collects debris. If you know you won't be expanding the set or taking it with you, the bolt threads can be crimped with pliers so the nuts can't easily be removed — a simple theft deterrent for an unanchored ramp sitting at the street.

Five-Year Warranty

BRIDJIT warrants the curb ramp against defects in material and workmanship for five years from the original date of purchase, to the original purchaser only; the warranty is not transferable and proof of purchase is required, with photos sometimes requested. Within the warranty period BRIDJIT will repair or replace a defective product at its discretion at no cost to the owner, though the warranty does not cover installation, removal, disposal, or return shipping. Coverage applies only when the ramp has been installed according to the written instructions and used as intended. Excluded are improper use or misuse, color fading from sun and UV exposure, natural shading variation between rubber pieces, animal damage from chewing or clawing, and exposure to chlorine, fertilizers, solvents, gasoline, or other harmful chemicals.
