Enter your step or porch height and we'll recommend the right ramp length.
Measure from the ground to the top of the highest step or landing.
Why slope matters: ADA recommends 1:12 slope for independent wheelchair use (1 inch of rise per 12 inches of ramp). 2:12 is only appropriate with a caregiver; 3:12 only for unoccupied transport. Always verify local building code before installing.
A pair of arched loading ramps that fold end-to-end for easy carrying and storage—a real advantage at the longer lengths, where a one-piece ramp gets unwieldy. You get the same frame structure as Five Star's standard arch ramps, built in halves and joined with Five Star's own hinges. They aren't bought-in parts: Five Star machines them from the same high-quality aluminum plate and bar as the ramps themselves, so the hinge is as durable as the rest of the ramp.
The arch profile reduces the angle where the ramp meets your truck bed or trailer, helping prevent the belly scraping and high-centering that low-clearance equipment is prone to—golf carts, race cars, zero-turn mowers, garden tractors, and other rolling stock that sits low between the axles.
Built from tempered, aircraft-grade aluminum, the pair stays light enough to position and set up by hand while resisting the rust and corrosion that affect steel ramps in wet and outdoor conditions. Each ramp is MIG welded in fixtures by Five Star Manufacturing's certified welders in Crane, Missouri, where the company has built aluminum ramps in the USA since 1984.
Sold as a pair—each ramp supports one side of your equipment. Available in multiple lengths, widths, and load ratings so you can match the set to your equipment and loading height:
A longer ramp creates a lower, safer loading angle—helpful for taller tailgates, trailer decks, and lower-clearance equipment. Five Star recommends 16-inch-wide ramps for lengths over 7 feet, which covers this entire range; the wider deck gives more margin for tire placement and reduces the chance of driving off the edge. The full width of each tire should fit within the width of the ramp. Always select a load rating higher than the full (wet) weight of your equipment, including attachments, cargo, and operator.
This product is backed by Five Star Manufacturing's 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If a defect is confirmed, Five Star will—at its discretion—repair the product, replace it, or refund the original product value.
To support a claim, please hold on to the product, its packaging, and any paperwork until the claim has been reviewed and a resolution determined; Five Star may request the affected product for inspection. These ramps are built in the USA by a crew that takes real pride in their work, and the warranty reflects that confidence. Please contact Select Ramps at sales@selectramps.com to start the process.
