BRIDJIT Expandable Driveway Curb Ramp Set | Rolled Curb | Recycled Rubber | 2.5 in Height

A rolled curb puts a step at the bottom of your driveway. Every time you pull in, the tires drop off the edge, the suspension takes the hit, and anything riding low scrapes. BRIDJIT bridges that step with a bolt-together rubber ramp that sits on the curb, not in it.

If your driveway entry is a rounded, roll-over curb rather than a poured apron, this is the fix. If your curb is vertical (a square 6 in face), call us first; this ramp is shaped for rolled curbs only.

Key features

• No drilling, no concrete, no adhesive. Sections bolt to each other, never to the curb. Nothing is anchored, so nothing is damaged if you move or sell.
• Follows a curve. The joints are left loose on purpose so the set flexes around a cul-de-sac or corner-lot entry, not just a straight one.
• Drains underneath. A 2.5 in channel runs the full length of the underside so storm water passes under the ramp instead of pooling at the curb. This is the detail that usually satisfies an HOA or city ordinance.
• Tapered ends. The left and right sections slope away at the outside edges, so delivery trucks cross them without catching, parallel parking stays easy, and there is no lip to trip over.
• Heavy enough to stay put. Each section is about 50 lb of molded recycled rubber. It does not slide, lift in wind, or need to be re-set after a storm.
• Made in the USA from 100% recycled tires.
• Expandable later. Add center sections to an installed set any time using the same bolts.

Who it is for

Anything on wheels that crosses the curb: sports cars and anything with a low air dam, lifted trucks, RVs and motorhomes, boat and utility trailers, golf carts, motorcycles, hand trucks and wheeled bins. BRIDJIT reports the ramp reduces the jolt of a rolled curb by as much as 80%, which matters most for low-clearance cars and for vehicles that cross the curb several times a day.

• Each section: 47 in long, 16 in wide, 2.5 in tall at the crown, tapering to 3/4 in at the road edge
• 3-piece set covers 11.75 ft of curb (about 150 lb)
• 4-piece set covers 15.7 ft (about 200 lb)
• 5-piece set covers 19.6 ft (about 250 lb)
• 6-piece set covers 23.5 ft (about 300 lb)

Installation

Two people, a hammer, a screwdriver, and about 30 minutes.

1. Unbox the sections. Each one is labeled left, center, or right.
2. Set them along the curb in order. The 1/2 in galvanized bolts are already in the center section; nuts are in the box.
3. Tap the bolts through and thread on the nuts. Leave them loose, about 1/4 in of thread showing, so the joints can flex to follow the curb.
4. Flip the assembled run onto the curb and nudge it into place. Done.

Upkeep: flip the ramp up and clear leaves and grit from the drainage channel about twice a year, more often if your gutter collects debris.

Theft deterrent: if you will not be expanding or moving the set, crimp the exposed bolt threads with pliers so the nuts cannot be removed without tools.

Warranty

BRIDJIT warrants the curb ramp against defects in material and workmanship for five years from the original date of purchase.

• Within the warranty period, BRIDJIT will repair or replace a defective product at its discretion at no charge for the product itself.
• The warranty does not cover installation, removal, disposal, or return shipping.
• Coverage applies only when the ramp has been installed according to the written instructions and used as intended.
• Not covered: improper use or misuse; color fading from sun and UV exposure; natural shading variation between rubber pieces; animal damage from chewing or clawing; and exposure to chlorine, fertilizers, solvents, gasoline, or other harmful chemicals.
