Cargo Equipment Corp Adjustable Aluminum Decking and Shoring Beam

The Cargo Equipment Corp adjustable aluminum decking and shoring beam covers a 93 in to 103 in span.

The beam is a square aluminum extrusion with E-track ends that slide in and out to set the width. Those ends lock positively into the E-track, and a flat latch handles the release. Cargo Equipment Corp notes that the flat latch is easy to work with gloves on, compared with older trigger-style E-track mechanisms.

Used as a decking beam under a vertical load or as a shoring beam against a horizontal one, the beam has a 2,000 lb working load limit, in both cases for an evenly distributed load. Its break strength is 6,000 lb.
