The Five Star cargo carrier slips into a standard 2-inch hitch receiver and hauls up to 500 lb at a convenient height for loading and unloading—so the muddy cooler, the firewood, or the extra gear rides outside the cabin.

A 3-inch lip runs around the tray to trap the load, and the expanded aluminum mesh floor lets water and debris pass straight through instead of pooling. The mesh also gives you multiple tie-down points across the tray, so odd-shaped loads stay put.

Built from tempered aluminum, the carrier resists the rust and corrosion that affect steel haulers in wet and outdoor conditions, and it's light enough to mount and remove by hand. Like every Five Star product, it's MIG welded by Five Star Manufacturing's certified welders in Crane, Missouri, where the company has built aluminum products in the USA since 1984.

• 524ACCU – Bolt-In Tongue: removable hitch tube that bolts on, so the carrier packs down smaller for shipping and storage.
