A container ramp for forklift access solves the one obstacle that slows every container load-in: the raised lip at the door opening. This HD Ramps grit-coat ramp bridges that lip at 8,000 lb per axle, so a counterbalance forklift or pallet jack drives straight in instead of transferring loads by hand at the threshold.

Three sizes cover different door widths and lip heights. The 36 in long by 36 in wide ramp clears a 6 in rise and weighs 42 lb. The 48 in by 36 in clears 8 in at 59 lb, and the 48 in by 45 in clears 8 in at 68 lb with the widest deck for larger forks and wider-track equipment. Deck profile is 2-1/8 in on the 36 in size and 1-1/4 in on both 48 in sizes.

The commercial-grade grit-coat surface is the difference on wet mornings and dusty warehouse floors. Where a smooth plate glazes over, grit-coat keeps a consistent friction surface under loaded drive wheels in rain, frost, and dust alike.

A knife-foot edge at the ground end tapers thin so pallets are not jostled at the transition, and the plate end seats on the container floor. Aluminum truss-design extrusion carries the axle load without the weight of a steel ramp, so the ramp can be repositioned between containers by hand.
