PVI Wheel-A-Bout Portable Ramp

The PVI Wheel-A-Bout is a long-format portable wheelchair ramp with built-in transport wheels that let you roll it into position and store it upright in a garage when not in use. Made from welded aluminum and rated for 600 lbs, it's a practical solution for home access to porches, decks, raised landings, vehicles, and elevated entryways where a permanent ramp isn't an option.

Available in 10-foot and 12-foot lengths and two top-hook configurations:

• Standard hook (2-3/4") — the right choice for most steps, porches, and standard landings
• Utility hook (9-3/4") — extended reach to clear higher obstacles, thick thresholds, or vehicle bumpers

All four variants are 30 inches wide, fold in half for transport, and accommodate manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and mobility scooters with a wide range of wheel configurations.

Choosing the Right Length

PVI recommends a maximum 2:12 slope for occupied wheelchair and scooter use — that's 1 foot of ramp for every 2 inches of rise. A 10' ramp accommodates rises up to about 20", and a 12' ramp accommodates rises up to about 24". For ADA-compliant 1:12 slope, you'll need 1 foot of ramp per inch of rise. If your rise exceeds 24", a modular ramp system is a better fit than a portable ramp — contact us for a recommendation.

Warranty Coverage

This product is covered by Prairie View Industries' Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in material and workmanship under normal use. (Customers in California are covered for five years from the date of purchase, in accordance with California law.)

What's covered

If your ramp has a manufacturing defect, PVI will repair or replace it at no charge for parts or labor. If the exact model has been discontinued, PVI may substitute a comparable product or refund the original purchase price.

What's not covered

The warranty doesn't cover normal wear and tear, weather-related deterioration over time, or damage from any of the following:

• Misuse, abuse, or neglect
• Modifications or alterations to the product
• Use that doesn't follow PVI's product instructions
• Improper installation
• Use as a rental product
• Repairs performed by anyone other than PVI
• Accidents or acts of God

Who's covered

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and only for as long as that person owns the product. It can't be transferred to a second owner.
