Welded aluminum safety curbs border the loading lane on the 7,000 lb capacity dockboards. The aluminum tread plate has a raised-diamond surface, with beveled edges where equipment enters and leaves.

These boards use uneven locking legs to support a canted resting position for pickup by fork truck. During loading, the legs help prevent board movement. A three-wheeled fork truck requires a dockboard with at least four times its lifting capacity, according to Vestil.
